“I’m delighted to say that along the way I’ve lost none of my eagerness and enthusiasm!”

"I am passionate about making my career a successful and notable one, something that I and others around me can be really proud of. To say that RM has supported me with this passion is somewhat of an understatement; since joining as an eager and enthusiastic graduate back in 2007 I’ve been presented with a range of opportunities that have enabled me to grow and prosper. I’m delighted to say that along the way I’ve lost none of my eagerness and enthusiasm!"

"Most recently, following completion of the Accelerated Talent Development Course at Cranfield School of Management, I moved from being a group manager within the operational arm of the business, to lead the product management of one of RM’s new and exciting propositions within the commercial arm. It’s this kind of positive move that ensures RM employees are motivated and continuously developing at the same time as contributing to the business in a significant manner. Aside from my own development, it is great to be part of an organisation that is developing too. In the last 12 months I’ve been blown away by the brilliant propositions we have brought to market – knowing that this is going to continue just excites me further."

James Browning, Senior Product Manager, joined RM Education in 2007

“‘RMers’ are high-calibre people who really care, are driven, and are passionate about what they do”

"I joined as a Training Officer in Jan 1997. After joining I quickly got asked to pick up a full HR role for Sales and Marketing – I think within four weeks, but that’s how quickly things can change here! My career highlight would probably be being promoted to HR Director if I went with the most recent 18 months, being given the opportunity to lead the HR team and be part of the wider RM Leadership team. It’s a great job and I was delighted to have been given the opportunity."

"Every day is different and there are so many opportunities to make a difference. The people are great. ‘RMers’ are high-calibre people who are really care, are driven, and are passionate about what they do. We are completely focused on education, so what we do really does make a difference. We have definitely changed as an organisation over the time I have been here, but the core values remain – I see my role very much has helping to ensure we retain these values and at the same time continue to evolve as a business."

Angela Sherwood, HR Director, joined RM Education as Training Officer in January 1997
